A public hearing on the downtown Clare special assessment district for a new east side McEwan Street parking lot is scheduled for July 21 at 7 30 p m. The session covers blocks fronting McEwan Street from 3rd to 6th and adjacent blocks on 4th and 5th Streets with 80 new spaces and expanded 4th Street parking. The hearing follows June 27 and will review proposed assessments for property owners in the district.
