Community at Vernon gathers for visits and family events
The Vernon area notes a weekend of gatherings with Fred Bush's family visiting Mrs. Floyd Bush and relatives at Blanchard. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Mott and others, while Gindy Hemstreet returned from surgery in Grand Rapids and uses a wheelchair part of the time. The Pilon family from Midland and extended kin across Clare, Bay City, and Lansing join in visits, reunions, and outings at Stevenson Lake, Potter Park, Higgins Lake, and the Roadside Park north of Clare.
