The money funds a caretaker cottage and fish food until release, as 150000 fry grow. larger ponds will be built at the flume’s lower end. Young Lady Loses Control Of Car Near St. Henry’s Church

Texas makes wife desertion a felony

Saturday the Sentinel editor received a box of strawberries from W. L. Park of the Clara Aire ranch. The fruit surpassed all seen this season with a circumference of five and a quarter inches. Broken spindle bolt causes truck rollover near Brown Corners

Electric storm damages Consumers Power lines in Clare and Farwell
Construction crews of Consumers Power Company worked in Clare early in the week to repair damage from a Sunday morning storm. Five transformers on the Clare Farwell line burned out and Farwell was without power over Sunday. Poles split and extensive damage occurred but crews restored service quickly with new transformers, upholding the company slogan of uninterrupted service.

Bessie Eliza Allien born July 6 1884 in Grant township Clare county died June 30 1929 at St Lawrence hospital Lansing aged 44 years 11 months 24 days. She married William Stalker in 1902 at Harrison and had eleven children with six remaining at home plus relatives. Services were held at Wood and Peck Funeral Home in Lansing and Arthur Cemetery with interment in the family lot.

Sarah Ann Nogle born August 25 1856 in Del ecalb County Indiana died June 30 1929 at age 72 years ten months five days at her daughter’s home in Lincoln township. She married Albert Lautzenheiser at age 24 and had four children. The family moved to Hatton township in 1882 and built a farm. She joined the Olive Branch class of the United Brothers in Christ at Brown Corners. Her husband died eleven years earlier. She leaves four children seven grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral was at Brown church with Rev Chas Kleinhardt and Rev Frank Bates. burial at Ghetty Grove cemetery.
