The Clare city commission regular meeting on June 6 1949 led by Mayor Dunlop approved minutes of the previous meeting and referenced Kasco sign. The board granted building permits to Chas Hermann W E Bowler and Eugene Allen and approved bids from A Irving Lumber Co for two bath houses at 240.00, and allowed Courtney Bauer bill 54.85. Multiple supplier and service payments were authorized including Mueller Co Darley Walters Hdw and others totaling 383.80 with numerous line items for maintenance cemetery and police costs. The meeting adjourned with minutes signed by Mayor Jenni W Dunlop and City Clerk Alex McKinnon.
