Farwell High Hosts District One-Act Festival
Farwell High School Drama II prepares to host six nearby schools Clare Keewart Beal City Shepherd Mt. Pleasant and Harrison for the district contest February 20. First and second place advance to regionals then to state in St Johns during the statewide competition. The musical comedy The Labors of Love runs February 14 and 15 at 8 p m in Farwell.

At the January 24 Coleman Board of Education meeting Greenville Construction won the general contract at 355 900 Ackerman and Sauve took the mechanical bid 180 620 Leiter Electric received the electrical bid 85 560 and Canton China Detroit secured the serving kitchen equipment bid 12 865 Bids came in under estimates allowing air conditioning for the media center cafeteria and new classroom block The addition includes a media center cafeteria recreation room and 18 teaching stations with projected completion in September.
