Blue Star Mothers Host Christmas Party in Farwell
Farwell Chapter of the Blue Star Mothers met December 19 for a Christmas party with fifteen mothers, a pot luck meal, and a gift exchange. They mailed Christmas cards with two dollars to forty four service men and delivered fruit baskets to four shut ins. January meeting on the 2nd had twelve mothers and installed Marie Doxtader as president. They tied two quilts and quilted ten in the past year and plan to continue in the new year. next meeting is January 16.

Farm groups skip February meeting
The Chatterbox Farm Bureau will not meet this month. The February gathering will be with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ryckman of Lake George. The Farwell Bronc Bus ters Club will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday at 7 30 p.m. at Farwell High School.
