Annual Livestock Tour in Isabella County planned for March
The annual Livestock Tour organized by BC Mellencamp Isabella County Agricultural Agent West will occur Friday March Ty with stops at Russell Cowden farm near Rosebush Don Reiter farm near Clare Ford Seibt farm near Clare and Harry Hauck and Son's farm near Weidman. Dr Ronald Nelson head of the Animal Husbandry Department will attend and speak at each stop alongside livestock buyers and guests. A noon meal will be served at Center Methodist Church three miles west of Rosebush with remarks and Q A opportunities. Attendance is expected to reach about 200 farmers with detailed cattle data including Aberdeen Anguss herds and Hereford stock and various weights.
