Michigan High School Forensic Association Spring Program
A record 351 schools are enrolled in the spring forensics program. Local contests run March 1 to 15 with first and second place winners advancing to district March 20 to April 8. Regional finals April 17 to May 6. District winners receive engraved desk dictionaries. regional winners certificates of merit. Events include interpretive reading, declamation, oratory, ex tempore, dramatic monologue, dialogue, lyric poetry, and radio news commentary. Enrolled area schools include Clare Coleman Harrison Faxwell Beaverton Gladwin.
