Rigid Plastic Foam Hailed for Architecture and Insulation
C Herbert Wheeler Jr of Curtis-Wright touts rigid plastic foam as light, transparent, thin with strong insulation. He cites a Baffin Island igloo test where a small lamp heated the interior enough to force occupants to leave after three hours.
