Fire destroys large building on Currie Farm near Clare
A Tuesday fire at Currie farm southwest of Clare destroyed a large 30 by 80 foot garage and repair shop, with two tractors an automobile and many small repair tools lost. Loren Garver discovered the blaze. Clare rural fire brigade saved the house and other structures. Firefighter Wilbur Ireland suffered facial burns. no fire insurance covered the garage. Cause not yet determined.
