John Gaskill Undergoes Appendicitis Operation at Cadillac Hospital
John Gaskill was taken to Cadillac Hospital Thursday for an appendicitis operation and is recovering well. Mrs. John Gaskill and relatives visited in Cadillac to see him, as did Alvin Pence and others. Several local residents attended a baby shower for Thelma Goodband. No church services occurred at the town hall Sunday. the minister plans to pack next Sunday.

Rev E E Redman delivered an inspiring message Sunday and will return next Sunday after Sunday School. Mrs Marie Allen has been under doctor care. James Teale returned from Ann Arbor hospital and rests well. Mrs Robert Clute visited with Wise township relatives. Ladies Aid met and finished a nice amount of work. Miss Dorothy Rutter returned home from Memorial Hospital Detroit. Local youths enjoyed a sliding party with a chili supper hosted by Mr and Mrs Ernest Town. twenty three attendees reported a good time. Sunday School superintendent was absent but hoped to return soon. Choir practice scheduled for Friday night with the assistant superintendent confirming.
