State to require official weigh receipts for truck licenses
The Department of State announces that 1932 truck and trailer licenses must use weight receipts from official scales. Harrison scales operated by Harrison Elevator Company will weigh all trucks and issue receipts signed by weighmaster and owner. Funeral Held Tuesday for Sheridan Man Harland Stanley Gerow
Funeral services for Harland Stanley Gerow were held Tuesday at the Sheridan Baptist church with Rev. Hendrich officiating. The Clare County native, born August 7, 1908, died December 6, 1931 in Pontiac, Michigan, at age 23. Interment was in Cherry Grove cemetery. he is survived by his parents and four siblings.
