Clare Pioneer Joseph Hudson Dies Suddenly
Prominent Clare citizen farmer and banker Joseph Hudson died Wednesday forenoon after a brief illness. He had been active that morning before suffering a hemorrhage at his farm and dying shortly after returning home. Funeral services are planned at his East Fifth Street residence Saturday at two oclock with Rev H B Johnson officiating and Cherry Grove Cemetery the burial site. Obituary to follow next week.

Pioneer Ehrhardt Dies at 78 in Clare Michigan
John Christopher Ehrhardt born in Wurtemberg on October 11 1849 died August 26 1928 at his daughter's home in Clare aged 78 years 10 months 15 days. He came to America in 1878 settled in Marquette moved to Clare in 1883 married Eva Karcher in 1884. He served as Clare schools janitor for twenty years and was a Baptist. He leaves widow two daughters Mrs Asther Brown of Clare and Mrs Eunice Harrold of Gladwin and many relatives. Funeral held at the Brown home with out of town attendees.
