Jackie Folkert a 17 year old Clare High School senior plans a year in Finland starting August 21 traveling from Metro Detroit to New York JFK then to Helsinki. She will live with three different families in Imatra and study at local schools while enjoying skiing and travel. Her first host family is the Heinonen family in Imatra where the father is a principal and the mother a teacher.
