State's misfortune brings Budd Lake a fortune
Fish Warden Wieber and Harrison sportsmen transferred four hundred bass to Budd Lake after a truck breakdown near Long Lake store. The bass will spawn in the lake, whose south end is closed to fishing to protect the venture. The spawn could rival a year’s hatchery output, saving state costs.
