Fire officials express concern over rising grass fires across eight counties Mecosta Osceola Clare Isabella Midland Gladwin Bay Arenac with 51 fires reported last week. Rev Charles Brady and his family of six children were left homeless when a fire at the Donald Mathews farm destroyed the rented house and barn. Firemen from two departments fought wind driven flames for nearly two hours. a neighbor saved cattle and a travel trailer but the Mathews family lost all possessions.

Cancer Campaign Begins in County Clare
