Notice states that on March 21 1952 The Western Union Telegraph Company applied to the Federal Communications Commission to discontinue the telephone operated agency office at Lake George Michigan and provide telegraph service by public telephone through the telegraph office located in the railroad office at Clare Michigan. Public comments in support or protest must be written to the FCC in Washington DC by April 24 1952.
