National Late Model Modified Championship heads to Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids hosts two big IMCA and National Late Model Modified events at Hawkeye Downs. The 100 lap national feature pays $1000 to win with $5000 total. Darrel Dake defends the title in a 1963 Ford, among top out-of-town entrants Norm Setran, Don Bohlander, and Ken Pankretz. Seven events run with inverted starts. time trials begin 2 pm.
