Shudra Hay Woodward daughter of Mr and Mrs Lester R Woodward of 2204 Johnson Ave N W united in marriage with William Joseph Vrba son of Mr and Mrs Wilmer J Vrba of 1505 9th St N W on Saturday November 26 at 2 00 P M The ceremony was at Cedar Christian Church with Reverend Barton G Murray officiating The bride wore ivory delustered satin with alencon lace and pearls in a natural waistline and a chapel train The bouffant veil was ivory silk illusion The bouquet an ivory butterfly rose cascade The maid of honor was Janice Woodward sister of the bride Bridesmaids were Mary Scriven and Anita Perry all of Cedar Rapids The attendants wore moss green velvet gowns The best man was Michael Vrba The groomsmen from Cedar Rapids were Thomas Van Deest Ronald Tack Donald Schley Ronald Sigmunds and Jim McArthur A rehearsal was held November 25 A reception for 225 guests followed The couple both attended the State College of Iowa Cedar Falls and the bride is employed at Collings Radio Company
