The congressional quarterly reports that in the 2nd District two term James i brom Well ,44, has been building a firm base of support but faces Formi Dable democratic opposition in attorney John c. Culver d a for Mer Harvard football legislative assistant to sen Edward m. Kennedy d for several months in 1963. Culver comes from Cedar rapids where democrats feel they must pile up a Strong vote if they Hope to win the rest of the District.
