Hawkeye Downs hosts varied racing shows with strong crowds
At Hawkeye Downs a busy weekend featured novice stock cars, sprint cars, and quarter and three quarter midgets. Buzz Barton led the sprint feature while younger drivers filled the Sunday programs. A road racing event at Greenwood is announced for July with top sports cars and a $10,000 prize fund.
