Current plans for initial development include 125 Camp Sites two Large picnic areas with restrooms Shower and laundry buildings construction of five Miles of Access roads two boat launching ramps with paved parking areas and Overlook parking area and an Access Road and parking area below the dam for fishermen. There will be 4,000 acres of recreational land including 2,-300 for general recreation and 1,700 for fish and wildlife. The Overlook which has been constructed on the Eastern Side of the dam will become a permanent area when the project is finished. A picnic area will be Laid out on Crownover Mill Road in Pickaway county. A swimming Beach and picnic area will be built on Miller Road. The camping Sites will be along Deer Creek below the dam and on tick Road. Construction of the recreational Sites is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 1967. Completion is expected by late Spring of 1968. The Ohio department of natural resources will operate and maintain ail lands As a state Park except at the dam.
