Hamilton County Republicans Platform Highlights

The platform calls for halting political tampering and liberalizing to aid injured workers and dependents. It seeks liberalized need standards for Old Age Security and makes welfare of veterans and dependents a paramount obligation with a rehabilitation program.

How to Vote on the Presidential Ballots and Endorsements

Voters must place marks under the rooster to vote Truman and Barkley. An independent mark on the presidential ballot invalidates that ballot for the Truman Barkley ticket. Endorsed candidates appear on the sample ballot with two voting options: X under the rooster for a straight Democratic ticket or X beside each endorsed candidate. If choosing the straight ticket, voters must also mark each Democratic choice for the Legislature to avoid counting Republican selections. Morse Johnson appears on First District ballots while Earl Wagner appears on Second District ballots.
