Blockade of Berlin Ending As Four Powers Plan Talks
On May 12 Russia will call off the Berlin blockade effective since March 1 1948 and France Britain and the United States will lift counterrestrictions on the Russian zone. Eleven days later foreign ministers of the four powers meet in Paris to discuss the German question as airlift reports show cargo through Berlin increasing with 235363 tons moved in April. Henry A Wallace testifies against the Atlantic Pact alleging Moscow courted a Berlin truce on March 21.
