Back to 1939 Theory Attacked by CIO Outlook
The CIO Economic Outlook argues that big business propaganda seeks to roll back real earnings gains since 1945 and restore diets of cornbread and peas, urging that after improving living standards people should not turn back the clock. It cites the National Association of Manufacturers and the Chamber of Commerce supporting the drive, while the CIO opposes it.
