Union Painters Donate Time Brighten Orphans Home
Union painters and contracting locals organized a paint up week gesture at Saint Joseph Orphanage in Mt. Airy. Volunteers from Painters District Council No. 12 along with local contractors and suppliers transformed sleeping and washing areas into a brighter livable space for the children. The event ran June 15 22 with Rev Carl A Lizza hosting a luncheon and staff and Sisters expressing thanks. Local unions 13 50 238 and 308 participated.
