Cincinnati Public Schools face a driver education shortfall as the Omni bus Traffic Safety Law requires 36 hours of classroom and 24 in car training for under 18s. Ohio Redistricting Mess Delays Candidate Filing
Secretary of State Ted W. Brown acted on a Federal Court order affecting Ohio elections in 1968. He instructed Boards of Elections to halt accepting nominating petitions for the U S House delegates to conventions and party central committee members until the court approves a congressional remapping. Brown briefed the joint legislative committees on how redistricting actions would affect primary schedules. The court ordered a January 26 deadline for enactment and signing of the remapping plan based on the 1960 census.
