The Fifteenth Amendment Club met last night presided by Cary with T. RN. C. as secretary. The meeting endorsed the nominees but would vote for them only if assured colored men would not be removed from office because of race.
The fall meeting at Buckeye Course afternoon lists purses in several races with riders and horses named such as Li Regent King Bene and Catine. Prices range from $10 to $150, while trains depart C H and Depot at 1 15 PM and the D Railroad at 2 15 PM, returning after the day’s races.
