Tragic Brakeman Kennedy Killed at Sixth Street Bridge
At about 2 PM a distressing accident on the Sixth street Bridge near Freeman street and the Dayton Short-line Railroad caused the instant death of 17 year old brakeman E Kennedy. He was on top of a car as freight train No 18 departed, failed to notice the approaching bridge, and was fatally thrown from the car. The coroner inspected the body and an inquest was adjourned until tomorrow morning.
