Mr Braddard delivered an eloquent address praising liberty and fraternal ties between America and Britain amid a national salute and cordial dinner.
Letters from Morocco report that on April 2 twelve leaders of Tetuan's Jewish community were imprisoned and chained by order of the pasha.
