W. 8. Goodwin assignee of J. Mullen & Bro. challenges the Sheriff’s plan to sell the Fourth and Race printing building after an April 4 assignment for creditors. Two chattel mortgages exist to Ann Mullen and Cincinnati Type Foundry. appraised value about 7000. Court refused the injunction and dismissed the petition.
John R. Pavy sues Amos Worthington and the Farmers' College seeking enforcement of a trust and related relief. Trustees allegedly bought college property at a 1568 public sale in a conflict with stockholders, claiming the sale lacked confirmation.
