Between 1 and 2 yesterday morning the saloon building of H H Corbin in Westerville caught fire near the bar room. the fire was checked as it crept toward the rafters. Damages run about 150 with liquor stock moved to Corbin's residence earlier. Corbin is ill with cholera morbus.

A man about 50 and a woman about 45 were found drowned in Waukegan lake yesterday afternoon after loitering at the site. They were strangers to the vicinity and are believed to have self-inflicted death by walking into the water. The coroner's jury returned a verdict of found drowned.
