A brick pierced the mayor's window and was hung by a gas jet with the inscription about an anti fire ordinance petition. A change of venue motion is pending in Alderman Glade's court.

The river fell two feet in 24 hours as a cloudy night brought some snow and heavy wind. the temperature stood at 32 degrees. The Howard loaded 1 000 tons here while Church and Silver Moon were both full.
