The Carver Robert Western and the Hopeful Wife

Rob ert Western, a turner and wood carver, sinks into poverty after his master's failure and illness. His wife Mary endures hardship while he completes a series of carved soldiers as a last gift for their child. A brief turn of luck comes when Mary secures aid and a physician helps Western recover. They move to London where Western finds work as a designer and prospers, while Mary credits faith and perseverance for their revival.
