C D Alexander of the law firm Hollister Butterworth Aleinaet died at 5 o clock in his resting home after typhoid malaria and a prolonged fever. He was twenty three, a member of University of Cambridge, and had been with Hollister and Butterworth about a year. His death is noted as a great loss to friends and society and his remains will be taken tomorrow to Washington Fayette County for interment.
Robert Stephens of South Covington died suddenly near Eleventh and Scott streets after a health collapse. The Coroner was not called to hold an inquest. A writ of ens took Ira Gardner to jail amid a false imprisonment case. The Fontmanter General ordered mail service on Covington to Bulittsville route increased to three trips weekly, though only one was previously carried. Collector Nixon returned from Washington. A false alarm fire occurred last night between 7 and 8.
