Old Gentleman Burned to Death in Erie Township Fire

Erie February 5 The house of Hen McLellen in Washington Township Erie County burned at about three oclock this morning. Mr McLellen aged seventy five perished in the flames. The other inmates escaped in time thinking he had got out. They saw him through the flames but could not rescue him.

Emigrant arrivals bring passengers and goods to Baltimore

Special Dispatch to the Times reports the Allan Line Peru vian arriving at Locust Point on February 3 at six o clock PM with twenty emigrants. The North German Lloyd steamer Bremen arrived from Bremen on March 3 at 8 o clock PM with four cabin passengers and cargo. Emigrants departed for the West via the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad at 8 45 PM yesterday.
