Robbery Aboard Carriage Ends When Suspect Is Tackled

Freight train wreck near Jefferson leaves brakeman dead
A Linle Miami Railroad freight train collided with an ox near a bridge at Jefferson on Wednesday night. The locomotive and several cars left the track while a number of cars were wrecked on the bridge and into the river. One brakeman was killed in the incident.
