Destructive Williamsburg Reservoir Break Devastates MA Valley
A massive Goshen reservoir near Williamsburg, Massachusetts burst May 16, flooding Williamsburg Leeds Haydenville and Florence. Dozens of factories including Skinner Silk Works Hayden & Co and Nantuck Silk suffered catastrophic losses with many homes destroyed.
