City Carrier orders may be left at the office at Fourth and Vine. agents sought in interior towns where pens exist. no clubs sent to towns with no copies. additions to a club end with the club. additions to clubs under eight months are not allowed. The terms are strictly adhered to.

The Santa Fe Gazette reports Capt Tilford of the Third Cavalry resisted a small Texan force seven miles below Fort Craig on the Rio Grande. He and his men fought two to three hours and retreated in good order with three wounded. Three of his men drowned crossing the river. Five Colorado volunteer companies pursued.
