The advertisement touts ONE BOTTLED Pea wes Greean pur- e, promising clear skin bright eyes smooth complexion and a strong butt while removing pimples boils tetters cankers and other skin ailments from head to toe. It claims to purify blood renovate the system and cure chronic diseases including scrofula syphilis hereditary or contagious cases in lungs stomach skin bones flesh or nerves with certainty.
An advertisement extols Radway’s Ready Relief as a universal remedy for family use, claiming it cures pain quickly when applied externally and internally. It markets relief from influenza, sore throat, coughs, dysentery, cramps, migraines, back pain, rheumatism, burns, and other ailments, and urges travelers to carry a bottle for water changes and travel discomfort.
An 19th century advert claims Radway's Regulating Pills cure digestive and systemic disorders. It touts a purely vegetable formula without mercury or minerals, promises cures for constipation, indigestion, bilious fever, piles, and nervous complaints, and urges purchase via druggists or mail order to Radway & Co.

Charles Woods, aged nineteen, son of a wealthy farmer near Adamsville in Gallia County, hanged himself yesterday afternoon in his father's barn. Officials attribute the act to depression caused by a tardy lawsuit and related troubles.

Circugvitte C reports that the wife of Wm. S Crabb from Jackson Township disappeared at sundown yesterday. Friends failed to locate her until this morning when she was found dead in the woods on J. R. Florence’s farm. She had appeared in health at 4 p.m. No motive is known.
Twenty three additional indictments were presented to the U S District Court in St Louis regarding alleged whisky frauds. The names of defendants were not fully arranged but W O Avery of Washington was cited among them. The grand jury's labors were reported closed as District Attorney Dyer outlined efforts.

Syracuse July 21 Liberal Republicans delay fixing a convention time and place. A committee led by Gen John Cochrane and others will act, with power. Saratoga also reports a Liberal sub committee meeting in secret and adjournment to 4 PM. Leading Liberals favor reunion with the Republicans.
The steamer Abbotsford from Philadelphia ran ashore at Cwmmaes Bay Wales while en route to Liverpool. Passengers were landed and tugs sent for assistance. reports say the vessel should be refloated soon as engineers and agents in Liverpool monitor the situation. Also noted are arrivals from Glasgow Hamburg and New York including Victoria State of Georgia Willand Kenilworth Bolivia and the Queen with further ships arriving at Paiapetruia and Loxpox.
July 21 John Litzell bitten by rattlesnake while mowing but expected to recover. He killed eighteen rattlesnakes yesterday. Frank Katz, sunstruck in Logan last week, suffered another near fatal stroke yesterday evening. A new Silver Mining Company formed in Franklin Fairfield and Perry counties. James Stuckey had a leg broken by a horse kick today.
Callthorag C reports a grand harvest picnic by the Grangers of Ross Highland Fayette and Clinton counties at Greenfield Fair Grounds with large Ross County turnout. Special trains from Chillicothe Hillsboro and Loveland. Speeches by Grand Master S H Ellis Hon Milton McCoy and Maj Edwards of Brown County. Dinner was a main feature.
Gov. Allen and Hon. Pendleton headline a mass rally marking the formal start of Ohio’s Democratic campaign. Thousands arrived by river and land, the event held in a Methodist tent with Col. Vance presiding. Allen lauded self made success and attacked military and money despotism while praising Pendleton and Walker and recalling Allen’s Ohio journey from youth to leadership.
