Escaped convict captured in Scott County and frost bite report
Jeffersonville Indiana January 22 reports Bill Rodifer, the escaped convict, was captured at Scottsburg by Dr Bailey and others between 1 and 2 am. A thief tried to enter the Scott County sheriff’s residence but was deterred by alarm from young ladies. The thief surrendered, identified as Rodifer, and was returned to the state prison at 9 am. His hands and feet are frost bitten.
