Wasuixeton February 18 Navy Department has not received word on the Dictator yet. Naval officers remain cautious but believe the vessel may be safe. The Sub Committee on Banking and Currency will begin next week the examination into the one or two items and will propose written interrogatories to be answered by the Secretary of the Treasury the Controller of the Currency and the Receiver of the bank before summoning witnesses. Indian War reports from Texas state Lieut Col Bueff with a small force of cavalry and Tonka scouts attacked a Comanche camp on the Double Mountain Fork on the 6th, killing ten and capturing sixty four horses.
