Fire Fiend in Empire Warehouse Causes Large Loss
A devastating fire at Empire Warehouse on Market Street in Crycaco last night wrought extensive damage to the free warehouse section, with losses totaling 8388 000. The blaze began late, spread rapidly through inflammable seeds and whisky stores, but the bonded warehouse was saved after intense effort. Insurance coverage is listed from numerous carriers, and the complete loss includes seed valued at about 152 000 and whisky stock estimated at 125 000 to 150 000, while bonded goods remained undamaged. The origin of the fire remains a mystery. investigators have yet to determine its cause.
