Death of Col. John T. Harper in El Paso Illinois
Col. John T. Harper a noted politician lawyer and soldier died at his home in El Paso February 6 after a lingering illness of consumption. He served as lieutenant colonel of the 4th Illinois Cavalry and was law partner of Col. Bob Ingersoll.
