In a boarding house at Summit avenue and Market street two counterfeiters Robert L Wilmer and Geo Rankin fought with a man named Watts. Watts was badly cut and Wilmer shot in the breast. Police arrested all involved. over 3000 dollars in counterfeit money plus bonds found in their room. Watts claimed to be a detective but is accused of being a tool for them. Watts and Wilmer were hospitalized.
