A Chicago and Wheeling express collided with a slow freight at Bellaire Ohio on the B and O. Eight men were killed and many hurt. The crash blamed on a switch not thrown. Among the passengers were Richard Carlos Spring Chicken Company members led by Alfred Dalbey the musical director who lost his right arm.
