A trolley crash in Seattle injures Ohio residents, with zero fatalities reported. Police and emergency crews respond as investigators gather details about the collision and the conditions of the injured passengers.
A Seattle street car derailed near the Alaska Yukon Pacific exposition grounds sending eighty passengers down a steep grade at thirty miles an hour. Fifty people were injured and Frank Hull of Tacoma died from his injuries. Among the wounded were P J Caldwell and B C Rainey of Youngstown Ohio, who were not seriously hurt.
AMERICUS Ga Sept 24 One person was burned to death another instantly killed and a third seriously burned when an automobile driven by John McLendon ran off an eight foot embankment. McLendon and Miss Viola Herman were pinned beneath the wrecked car which caught fire. Hill, another member of the party, ran screaming to Americus two miles distant to give the alarm. Miss Herman's neck was broken by the fall and death was instantaneous, but McLendon was roasted alive.
In Greenville Ohio on September 24 1900 Andrew Cashman aged 40 drove his team onto Bishop's crossing and was instantly killed by a second section of an east bound Panhandle freight. Both horses died and the wagon was shattered. The crossing lies in a wide prairie with clear track views for miles and the cause remains a mystery.
Massachusetts man Calvin L Cady was shot and killed by his son-in-law William L Barnes who fired at random while Cady was getting a drink of water. The incident occurred in Seekonk on September 24 and Cady died the following day.
The will of Pierson Cory Conklin filed in Hamilton Ohio on September 24 assigns his entire estate to his wife who died before him. The widow's will then bequeaths the estate to her brothers and sisters making Mrs Harmon the residuary legatee and beneficiary of the bulk of property.

Terrebonne parish faces destitution for about 1,000 people. Houma aids evacuees with food and shelter while clothing and supplies are scarce.
Grace Cunningham, 17, of Harshmanville Ohio, reportedly left a note saying her family ill treated her and jumped into a Dayton canal where she drowned. A search found her body after she failed to return for supper. authorities investigated her room for clues.
In Louisville on September 24 the International Tax Conference re-elected all current officers except A. J. McNabb. Arthur J. Matheson of Toronto was chosen as vice president for the Dominion of Canada. The executive committee will pick the next meeting place later.
In Middlesboro Kentucky on September 24 deputy Gordon Givins shot and killed David Hayes at the Edgewood mines while serving a warrant. Hayes reportedly attempted to escape as four bullets struck him, killing him instantly.
By a 59 to 45 vote the National Association of Rural Free Delivery Carriers decided to continue the per capita tax at one dollar. Officers elected include President Elias Frey of Hamilton Indiana and Secretary P. E. Cull of Concord Massachusetts. The next convention will meet in Little Rock Arkansas.
Mrs William K Vanderbilt Jr returns to New York on the Lusitania with her son William K Vanderbilt III and Miss Muriel Vanderbilt. Asked about reports of marital troubles she said she cannot comment and has been in the public eye too much to make a statement.
Henry Krummel a 52 year old carpenter of Lindenwald died from a fractured skull after falling from a second story window at his home on Symmes avenue. He sustained the injuries Sunday night and died today in Hamilton.
A fire in Fort Worth Texas consumed the Fort Worth Elevator company buildings and the Fort Worth Macaroni and Corn Shelling company facilities. Loss estimated at 150000. No injuries reported. Authorities investigated the blaze and determined it started in the elevator structure.

McGorty with a fourteen Filipino crew, left Balabon near Palawan carrying J. L. Perrine to San Dakcan in British North Borneo to buy supplies. no word since.

Special Dispatch to Commercial Tribune Springfield Ohio September 24 After buying a stock of shoe worn shoes in Cleveland for which he was paid 103 Louis Gilbert a second hand dealer of this city found that the boxes on which he had paid 9 in express charges and 73 C O D contained boots and shoes which had evidently been gathered from a dump old water soaked carpets and sixteen shoe boxes filled with bricks Gilbert came to police headquarters this morning in a state of violent excitement and told his story but the police were unable to help him He said that he would go at once to Cleveland where he would seek assistance from the police there.
