Brother Dies After Auto Crash at City Hospital
John Bien learned yesterday morning his brother Nicholas Bien of 3837 Herron Avenue was badly injured when struck by an auto driven by Charles E. Roth Jr. at Eighth and Walnut. Nicholas died at 3 45 yesterday afternoon after being taken to the city hospital. The accident occurred as Bien was boarding a car, and Miss Mabel Bierman rode with Roth in the vehicle. The family of eight learned of the tragedy as they waited at home in Herron avenue.

Sixteen Die As Rock Island Train Plunges Into Creek
