Judge Edward Hurley Dies at 45 in Cincinnati Courthouse
Judge Edward M. Hurley of the Common Pleas Court, a former United States Commissioner, died of heart disease at his home 1101 Rosemont Avenue after a six month illness. He was 45 and had served on the court since December 1, 1924 after filling an unexpired term, with election in 1926. He practiced law in Cincinnati from 1913 to 1924 and earlier served as U S Commissioner for the Southern District of Ohio from 1919 to 1921. He was survived by his wife Mrs Ruth Hollister Hurley and attended by Dr Giles DeCourcy and James O Connor.
