Eight year old killed by truck while playing with paper airplane
John K. Ewen of Williamsdale near Hamilton died after his paper airplane game drew him into the path of a sand truck on the Seven Mile pike. Driver Bader swerved to miss him, but the truck hit a freight car then struck the boy. Coroner ruled accidental death.
